Dining out: The Gate
Is it difficult, or near impossible, for vegans to enjoy a delicious meal in a restaurant?
I have often heard people say that it must be really hard to eat out, and that social occasions must be difficult at best. I haven't found that so far, as you can see in the list of reviews below.
Is it possible to enjoy vegan fine dining in London?
The Gate is a vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan options. I've had the pleasure of eating there a few times, and along with others, I'd say it was fine dining. You can see this from the presentation of the dishes in the photos below.
Where is The Gate located?
They have restaurants in Hammersmith, Islington, and Marylebone. I've not been to the one in Marylebone, but if you want something picturesque, I'd book a table in the Hammersmith branch. It's gorgeous.
So do you still think it's difficult for vegans to eat out?
