Vegan Yoghurt: tried, tasted and reviewed
Going to a specialist store for vegan yoghurt
I remember when I had to go to a specialist health food store if I wanted vegan yoghurt. But now, we are spoilt for choice! :)
Tesco
Thicker and creamier than the plain yoghurt. It was great for making Shrikhand!
Lidl
I tried it on its own and liked it. There’s a little sweetness but it’s not excessive. I used it to make Kadhi and it was perfect for it.

Tesco
I used this to make Dhokra and it was awesome! It has a slightly sour taste, which is great for making dishes that need a bit of tanginess.
Tesco
This has been my favourite for a few years now. I’ve used it to make Shrikhand, Chaas, Kadhi and have enjoyed it on its own too.
Many supermarkets
This is a gamechanger for making Shrikhand extremely quickly!
Many supermarkets
This yoghurt has a sweet aftertaste which I don’t like.
