Dining out: La Polenteria
Italian and gluten free
I heard good things about La Polenteria and was keen to check it out. I was so glad we went. At the point of ordering, I hadn't realised that it was completely gluten free. I loved the way the taste, texture and presentation of the food! Being gluten free didn't take anything away from it at all.
Vegan section in the menu
What was even more impressive, is that they had a section within their menu which showed the vegan options, and they even had a vegan dessert. I was told that the dessert changes quite often, but I can positively say that they added their magic to a popular dessert, which made us feel like we hadn't tasted it before!
Here's what we shared...
Service and atmosphere
The staff at La Polenteria were so lovely. They took pride is creating a cosy, friendly and attentive atmosphere. The service was great and it seemed to be a place that was a mix of regulars and new visitors, which created a really nice feel.
I would definitely return! However, I know that my next visit won't be the same, because the menu and venue have been revamped! Can't wait to go again.
