Red Cup: loads of vegan options, many of which are made from scratch, by the owner!
Update December 2022: Red Cup has closed permanently
Red Cup before…
I went to Red Cup a few years ago and wasn’t very impressed with the vegan options. I didn’t fancy the breakfast and outside of that, I only remember there being a jacket potato. However, things have changed, drastically!
Red Cup now…
The owners of Red Cup, Reena and Henal; have grown the menu massively over the last couple of years and I’m excited to tell you that Reena makes a lot of the mock meats herself and what I’ve tried has been delicious!
The food
I’ve shared photos of what we’ve eaten recently but there’s so much choice, I need to go back a few more times to try more items!
Red Cup’s current menu
Their website doesn’t have their menu on it so I’m sharing photos of some of their current menu to give you a flavour of what they offer.
Beyond the menu
It’s not just the menu though!
We went to Red Cup for lunch a few weeks ago and it was lovely to see how welcoming, approachable and caring Reena was with the customers. She really knew about them. You could see that she remembered stuff that they had told her and she made a point of connecting with all the people she served. It felt very homey.
Have you been to Red Cup yet?
If Harrow isn’t local to you, which café do you like going to and why? I’d love to hear from you. Get in touch using the comment box under this post, the contact form in the menu above or search for @PlantShift and get in touch via social media..
