Sweet Little Treats: vegan Mitthai from Pushpa
How I found out about Sweet Little Treats
Divali was approaching and people started talking about where they could order Mitthai from. Rena, (a friend of mine), was going to place an order with Pushpa. Rena was kind enough to place orders for a few of us and have them all delivered to her, so that we could then collect them from her. This was great because Rena lives very close to me.
Ticking a number of boxes in one go
When possible, I like to do things that tick a number of boxes in one go! Those are:
to support small businesses
to support vegan businesses
to try vegan items that are new to me
to buy gifts for friends and family
Ordering from Pushpa ticked three of the four boxes above. Her business isn’t a vegan business but she’s vegan so that was a plus point.
The selection boxes
As you can see in the photos, the boxes looked good, the presentation of the sweets was fab and it was quick and easy to see that there was a variety of different sweets in the box.
I ended up with one huge favourite! Coffee Crunch.
What I liked about the selection box
Some of the things I liked about the box were:-
the size of the pieces
the variety of Mitthai within the box
the presentation
Prices
At the moment, the cost of the selection boxes is as follows:
£8.50 for a box containing 12 pieces
£13.50 for a box containing 20 pieces
