This recipe makes 9 servings
Ingredients for vegan alcohol free Tiramisu
- 200g of Rich Tea biscuits
- 2 cups of freshly brewed coffee
- 2 Vanilla Soy Desserts - I used Alpro Soya Dairy Free Vanilla Dessert
- 300ml of refrigerated Soy Whipping Cream
- Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
How to make vegan alcohol free Tiramisu
- Brew your coffee and set it aside to let it cool
- I used 2 heaped teaspoons of coffee with 1/2 a mug of hot water, which I put in a bowl that was big enough to put the biscuits in
- Whip the cream until it's smooth
- Add both vanilla desserts to the cream and whisk using a hand blender or a hand whisk
- When the mixture is smooth and creamy, put it in the fridge
- Dip the biscuits into the cold coffee until they've absorbed a fair amount of liquid, but aren't soggy i.e. you should be able to pick them up without them breaking
- Put 2 biscuits at the bottom of each ramekin ensuring that the base is covered fully
- Add a layer of cream and spread it out using the back of a spoon or a spatula
- Sprinkle generous amounts of cocoa onto the cream using a sieve, or tea strainer
- Refrigerate for at least an hour, but more if possible, and then serve
