How to make vegan Indian tea
Indian tea
I've met a number of people who have said that they love Indian tea and have struggled to go vegan or stay vegan because they haven't found a way to make it right. They have been told that vegan milk can’t be boiled, they have found that the milk separates or they are stuck and don’t know how to attempt making it.
The video below is less than 5 minutes long and it will show you how I make it. I've made it for vegans and non-vegans who have enjoyed it and commented on the fact that they didn't expect vegan Indian tea to be so good. So it can’t be that bad, can it?!? :)
Other vegan milks I’ve used when I’ve made vegan Indian tea
I’ve used a number of vegan milks during the last 10 years and because I really enjoy Indian tea, I started experimenting with making Indian tea, very soon after going vegan. From memory I have used the following milks and they’ve all worked well.
Both types of Oatly which are shown in the video
If you haven’t made vegan Indian tea before now, or you haven’t got it ‘right’ for you, try the recipe in the video and let me know how you get on.
