To Pret or not to Pret
I have ummed and arred about writing this post a fair bit! However, I think it's better that you're aware and empowered, rather than, unaware and disappointed as a result.

Following a plant-based or vegan lifestyle, is about food, drink, clothes, shoes, body treatments, hair products and more.
It's a conscious decision to think, walk and possibly, talk a better lifestyle.
I support individuals who are thinking about making the shift, as well as, those who have already begun their plant-based journey.

Read MoreMy hubby and I had planned to meet up with my cousin who doesn't live too far from Holborn. He is a vegetarian so choosing where to eat would be a treat! We'd get to search for veggie restaurants that had vegan options and support a small business at the same time! I love supporting non-chains!
Suraj came across a pop-up called Redemption Bar. It is London’s first alcohol free bar movement, which is designed to allow customers to enjoy themselves without enduring any negative effects of drinking alcohol.

I had the pleasure of eating at Ethos a couple of weeks ago.
It hasn't been open long, but it's busy and popular already!
Let me talk you through my first dining experience at Ethos.

Read MoreI came across a post on BuzzFeed, which listed 21 unmissable vegan places in London. I had been to some of them but Bonnington Café was one of the ones I'd not eaten at.
My mission was to tick a few boxes in one go. This involved having a lovely meal, going somewhere I hadn't eaten before, time out with a friend and gain something that I can share with you.
I'm happy to say that all of the boxes were ticked!

You see, a few months ago, I attended the Vdelicious exhibition.
I was there for two reasons. One reason was to, try out and buy, some new products, and the other, was to support the Good Health Box team.
As I walked around as a customer, I was gutted! The stalls were placed on different coloured strips of carpet to show whether they provided vegetarian, vegan or meat products. Why was this a problem?

Suraj and I found out about the various pop ups in Granary Square a couple of months ago.
It was exciting to see that many of them catered for, or exclusively provided, vegan food.
We couldn't eat any more at the time, so of course, we said we'd go back. Another place to add to the list of places that I want to eat at!
It wasn't a Club Mexicana day when we were there, but I heard lots about it afterwards, and after seeing photos of their creations, I felt like I couldn't get there soon enough!
Read MoreMany people automatically think that vegans have a really hard time if they want to eat out. This is another example to show that it's not the case. In fact, it's the opposite!
Vegans are not restricted, eating out is not boring and we usually leave feeling chuffed about the meal we've had.
The options may be tailor made for us, they may be listed on the main menu or shown on a separate menu for vegans. Either way, the common experience is that our bellies are full at the end of the meal, so we leave with a smile on our faces.
Read MoreVdelicious is an exhibition which spans across three days. It's full of companies who sell vegetarian, vegan and free-from items. I attended this for the first time on Saturday 5th July. I
I roamed around and checked out the various stands and then supported The Good Health Box too.
Check out some of the goodies from the vegan businesses, which I captured on camera!
Read MoreI hadn't travelled much until I was about 25 years old and when I did, booking flights was something I'd happily leave to someone else. You can imagine the delight I felt when I was due to travel to India and learned of a travel agent who specialises in flights there. He gave me options, which were easy to digest and then make a choice. I went for Jet Airways.
Find out how well they catered for vegans.

We'd only been on one holiday where we had a tour guide and the experience was a mixed bag. It ranged from generous, amazing and adventurous to neglectful and greedy. I'd forgotten about that until we discussed it on the trip and I was thankful for the memory lapse! I wouldn't have wanted some of these memories to cloud my perception of how this trip would be. Why? Because it was great! :)
