Recipe: quick and easy chocolate mousse
This recipe serves 4 - 8 depending on what you serve it in
It takes about twenty minutes to prepare
The longer that you can refridgerate it for the better
Ingredients for the Chocolate Mouse
120ml of aquafaba
200g of dark chocolate
150g of Silken Tofu
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon of Maple Syrup
A sprinkle of sea salt (optional)
How to make the Chocolate Mousse
Use an electric whisk to whisk the aquafaba until you can see stiff peaks
Use the double-boiler method to melt the chocolate
Blend the melted chocolate, tofu, oil and maple syrup until it’s smooth
Gently mix the aquafaba and the mixture in the blender
Pour it into the serving vessel and put it in the fridge
Before you serve it, add a sprinkle of sea salt or serve it as it is
Variations
You can enjoy this in so many ways! Some examples are to add orange rind, nuts or thin slices of fruit.
