For an intimate dinner that will tantalise your tastebuds, go to Pied à Terre
Why I wanted to go to Pied à Terre
I have a list of places that I'd like to eat at and Pied à Terre was on that list! A friend of mine dined there a few months ago, and the photos of the food looked wonderful!
We made a spontaneous decision to indulge in their vegan taster menu recently, and I want to tell you all about it!
What I liked about Pied à Terre
I loved looking up at the flowers and how the light shone on them. You can see this in the photo above.
The food looked amazing! It was creatively arranged and the idea behind some of the dishes was quite funky! The food had layers of flavour and varying textures.
The head chef brought the food to us a couple of times. He was lovely! He humbly explained what we were about to eat and didn't rush, although he must have been busy.
What I didn't like about Pied à Terre
I think it would be a nicer experience if it was bigger and the tables had more space between them.
The person who waited on us when the head chef wasn't available didn't speak that clearly, so we struggled to understand what we were eating.
So all in all, I'd say I'm glad I went and would recommend it if you fancy a 'fancy' dinner. :)
