Over the last year, I stopped using skincare products because my skin had become sensitive due to having Long COVID. However, something had changed and my skin was ready to be exposed to other products. I wanted a skincare regime which was suited to my skin so I got in touch with Plantopia and Grace replied. She was amazing! In this article, I’ll explain why Grace was so awesome and I’ll tell you all about Plantopia.

"Vegans won't get a 'good' vegan meal in a mainstream restaurant! They'd have to go to a 'special' one."
Sometimes I forget about the assumptions that people make about how accessible vegan options are, and I end up being thrown when they're voiced.
It's generally accepted that vegetarian options are easily available, but there seems to be a lack of awareness, or resistance, about how easy it is for vegans to eat out.

How do non-vegan friends manage when they want to invite vegans over for a meal?
Friends and family often show love through food. It's often a time to sit, socialise, give the body what it needs, and possibly go a bit further, and indulge, with those you care about!
I've heard and seen people get stressed and anxious over cooking a vegan meal, before the 'guests' have been asked, or date has been set. Going to work socials was a no-brainer
There aren't many work socials that I've missed. We have two every year. One is organised before the end of the Autumn Term and the other is in July.
They are fun and it gives us a chance to meet everyone outside of work, when we're a little more relaxed.
It was a no-brainer because vegetarians were always catered for. The main person who organises the events, is vegetarian, so she makes sure they are catered for. However, when I went vegan, I had to ask the lady who organises the events, to contact the venue and find out if they cater for vegans. I didn't think it would be a big deal, because we always book a hotel or restaurant, where you'd think, the chefs would be used to catering for all sorts of dietary needs.
