Christmas Set Menu at Café Van Gogh
Café Van Gogh’s Christmas Set Menu
I found out about Café Van Gogh’s Christmas Set Menu from Instagram and soon after, I was making plans about who to go with, when to go and so on!
My motivation
I had multiple reasons for wanting to enjoy Café Van Gogh’s Christmas Set Menu. These included the following:
I wanted to support Café Van Gogh after finding out that they asked for it
If I have a choice between supporting a vegan businesses and a non-vegan business, I’d choose the former every time
I enjoy trying Christmas specials
I know that many businesses are struggling at the moment and I would love to alleviate that even if it’s only a tiny bit
When I last went to Café Van Gogh, we couldn’t finish both of the desserts and to avoid wasting it, I was going to take it home. The manager insisted that I take it in the glass that it was served in. I wanted to return this glass to them.
The menu made my mouth water! :)
What did we actually order?
Instead of ordering two lots of the set menu, we ordered 3 courses from the set menu and 2 courses from their regular menu.
Suraj absolutely loved the items from Café Van Gogh’s regular menu and I couldn’t get enough of the dishes from the set menu, so it worked out really well!
Why I think you should go to Café Van Gogh
Café Van Gogh isn’t just a vegan business; it’s a social enterprise and I think that’s worth supporting. The staff are lovely, the food is yummy, the design of the café is gorgeous, especially the way they’ve painted the ceiling. It’s definitely worth a visit or more! :)
