Recipe: delicious and comforting porridge within 10 minutes
This recipe makes a nourishing, warm and satisfying breakfast, which is quick and easy to make.

Ingredients for vegan porridge
1/2 a cup of oats - I use wholegrain oats. I’m not too fussed about whether they’re rolled, jumbo or something else. My focus is to make sure that they don’t have anything added.
400ml of oat milk - I use this one Oat Drink Semi
2 teaspoons of the flaxseed and nut mix (optional) - I use a readymade combo or grind my own flaxseeds and nuts
a pinch of cinnamon
2 Medjool dates - I use these because they have a sweet, caramel taste
How to make vegan porridge
Put the milk in a pan and put it on a medium to high heat
Add the oats
Add the cinnamon
Remove the stone and then cut up the dates, add them to the pan and stir
If you’re adding the flaxseeds, do so now and stir again
Turn the heat off when it reaches the consistency that you like
Serve it in a bowl
