Why I think it's worth dining at the recently opened OmNom
OmNom
OmNom opened in January 2020.
The restaurant is a little tricky to find because the name isn’t fully visible from the street, but once you’ve spotted it, even the few steps between the pavement and OmNom is wonderful! I remember seeing a beautiful plant shop and not being able to simply walk passed it. I had to stop and admire that range of plants.
The layout of OmNom is minimalistic, elegant and quite stunning.
The lady who served us was cheery, friendly and could tell us what the various items were with confidence.
The food
We had a bit of a feast! This is what we ordered.
Mini Slider Trio
Aryuvedic Flatbread
Jackfruit Rosti
Jalapeno Pops
Everything was tasty, satisfying and light yet filling.
My favourite dishes were the flatbread and the jalapeno pops.
Tea
I don’t know if it’s because it was cold outside, or because they had a range of teas which sounded different and appealing; whatever the reason, we tried a few of their teas. Their teas were indulgent, satisfying, light and tasty. My favourite ones were the ones that were hot and milky. Some of the others we tried were more like herbal teas.
Dessert
We got all three desserts!
We were amazed that we ate a fair bit and although we paced it out, we didn’t feel bloated or yucky afterwards. The food was good in multiple ways!
