Vegan Marrakech
Unfortunately I don't have any snazzy photos to show you but I have very fond, relaxed, warm memories of our stay in Marrakech. Actually, I'd say I was CHUFFED throughout the trip! :)
Travelling with acceptance that I may not eat 'well'
We visited Marrakech without the expectation that we would be fed hugely 'well.' Now this word itself is problematic because we definitely wouldn't starve and I'm sure there'd be something that we could eat. So...we weren't sure if we'd be able to indulge on various foods and drinks!
The surprise re how well we ate in Marrakech
We were in for some of treats, which included wholesome food and not so good for you desserts too! :)
If there wasn't something vegan on the menu, staff were willing to create a dish for us, so we were never left with 'just' salad, as an option! Our favourite place was the Earth Cafe. They offered yummy vegan food, it was cosy, the service was fab and we just wanted to keep going back!
So no regrets. It was another great city break.

How to explain what vegan means in different languages
"I eat everything that nature voluntarily gives: fruits, vegetables, and the products of plants. But I ask you to spare me what animals are forced to surrender: meat, milk, and cheese."
