Young Vegans at Planet Organic
Harry Potter
We went to see Harry Potter and The Cursed Child a few months ago. We booked tickets for both parts on the same day and planned to eat out between each show.
There were a number of choices. The deciding factors included wanting to support a vegan business, going somewhere we’ve not been before, the weather (as it was forecasted to rain) and not being too far away from the theatre.
Young Vegans
We went to Planet Organic where they had a number of vegan options sold by different businesses. We opted for the Mushroom Stroganoff Vegan Pie and the Hemp + Bean Burrito.
Oh my goodness! What an awesome lunch!
Dessert
There were quite a few dessert options including an almond croissant but we didn’t buy any as we didn’t have time to eat it whilst in Planet Organic and it would have been too messy to eat in the theatre.
“Vegans find it really hard to eat out”
Time to do a bit of myth-busting! So, even when rushing to eat between performances, vegan options were easy to find. We had lots of choices. The food was delicious. It didn’t cost the earth. Was there any drama? Yes! It was around finding it hard to order and not being able to fit in a dessert option. :)
